I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
